New horizons

Since my last post I’ve been working on my Halloween set for Creative Market. It’s not quite ready yet but here’s a little taste. I’ll update as soon as I launch.

It’s been an amazing process. Stepping back, I’d say that it pretty much sums up everything I think about creative practice…

All creative pursuits, whether big or small always contain quite a large chunk of learning on the job and not knowing how and these things only get resolved the moment the project is finished. Not always a comfortable experience but it adds to the challenge and, if I’m honest, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

To nerd out for a moment, alongside Illustrator and Photoshop I’ve been using 3D software Adobe Dimension. Bringing my illustration/design into the 3D space has been quite an eye-opener. Genuinely exciting!

I’ll be back in a few days with an update.
