It’s a sign

Calvert is a typographer and designer whose work is so strong and so everywhere that you probably don’t know you know her... She designed the signs for Britain’s roads. You know the ‘Men at work’ sign showing the man with the spade? That’s hers. How about ‘children crossing’ showing a girl leading a younger boy by the hand? That’s hers. A true design icon.
